Obituary for Jane M. Leonard
CHELMSFORD – Jane M. Leonard, age 69, died Saturday at Palm Manor Nursing Home in Chelmsford. She was born in Medford, August 15, 1942 a daughter of the late Richard and Ursula (Shore) Hall and lived in Billerica for over 30 years before moving to Chelmsford. Ms. Leonard was a reading teacher for the Billerica Public School and more recently did computer work for Scitex in Burlington. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed going on outings with the group. She is survived by one daughter Christine Overy of Nashua and her longtime companion Jay Johnson; one brother, Richard Hall of Milton; three sisters, Judy DiMatteo of Billerica, Joanne DiMatteo of Cape Cod and Jaqueline Siekman of Medford; two grandchildren Nicole and Michael Overy as well as her former husband Richard Leonard of Dracut, her former son-in-law Paul Overy Jr. of Pelham, NH and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
