Obituary for James Robert McCreary
James Robert McCreary, Age 37, died unexpectedly on September 17, 2020, in Billerica, MA. He was born in Lowell, MA, the son of Jean (Murray) McCreary of Camarillo, CA, and Robert McCreary of Gresham, OR.
James was a loving father who would do anything to make his daughter happy.
He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back if he thought somebody needed it more than him. He could fix anything, and took great pride in his work in the carpet, flooring, and tile industry.
James is survived by his daughter Desiree McCreary of Billerica, MA, his big sister Kelli Jaramillo, of Camarillo, CA, his younger brothers Robert and Nicholas McCreary of Sedro-Woolley, WA, many cousins, 6 nieces, and 1 nephew.
James had a feisty, charismatic spirit that was often mistaken for arrogance, but he was as loyal as he was stubborn. This earned him the nickname 'Tank' from his Grandfather!
James' Mom, sister, daughter, and niece will be having a short Celebration of James Life at Kohlrausch Park, Colson St., North Billerica, Saturday, September 26, between 10-12 am. We hope to meet James friends to talk about their memories and times spent with James. We encourage everyone to bring pictures to share. Also if you are unable to make it and would like to say something special or add photos or videos, his obituary will be posted at sweeneymemorialfh.com.
