Obituary for James P. Arsenault
James P. Arsenault – Age 74, beloved husband of Joan J. (Dalton) Arsenault died Thursday at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus. He was born in Chelsea, September 16, 1937, the son of the late Ernest and Ann (White) Arsenault and lived in Chelsea until moving to Billerica in 1972. Mr. Arsenault served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 until 1961. He was employed as an Engineer and Program Manager at Raytheon, Digital and retired from the Setra Corporation. He was a former Billerica Minuteman. He loved sports, fishing, time outdoors, and time with family. He and his wife wintered in North Fort Myers Florida where they had many friends. Besides his wife, to whom he was married to for 54 years, Mr. Arsenault is survived by his daughters, Linda Peterson and her husband Joseph of Merrimack, NH, Karen Ayer and her husband Thomas of Burlington and Audrey LaRosa of Hudson, NH; his son, James Arsenault and his wife Cheryl of Amherst, NH; his brother, Thomas Arsenault of Saugus; his sister, Ann Mielcarek of Lynn and is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Arsenault, Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
