Obituary for James M. Mount Sr.
BILLERICA - James M. Mount Sr., age 85, husband of the late Genevieve "Jean" (VanIderstine) Mount died Tuesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford after a long illness.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, June 30, 1926, a son of the late Clifford and Lois (Walker) Mount and has been a Billerica resident for the past 70 years.
Mr. Mount served in the pacific theater with the US Navy during WW II aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Randolph and was a salesman for Hutchins Ford, Dunn Ford and Bonnell Ford. More recently he was a custodian at the Parker School in Billerica. He was a Mason with the Thomas Talbot Lodge in Billerica and was also a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks.
He is survived by one son, James M. Mount Jr. and his wife Linda of Billerica and two grandchildren Jayne and Bryan Mount.
MOUNT - Of Billerica, July 5, James M. Mount Sr. It being Mr. Mount's request there will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Monday at St. Theresa Church 470 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
