Obituary for James M. Blauvelt Sr.
BILLERICA - James M. Blauvelt Sr., age 52, husband of Susan (Flynn) Blauvelt died Friday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born in Stoneham, October 21, 1956 son of the late Hollis and Elizabeth (Mazzarella) Blauvelt and was a longtime resident of Medford before moving to Billerica 10 years ago.
Mr. Blauvelt was employed by the Bedford DPW for many years, most recently worked in the maintenance dept of the Holliday Inn in Tewksbury, was a skilled carpenter and had the ability fix almost anything.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, James M. Blauvelt II and his fiance Raianna Sweeney; two daughters Michelle Pantollana and her husband Mike of Lowell and Nicole Bova and her husband John Jr. of Billerica; one brother Hollis "Skippy" Blauvelt of Medford. Also survived by 9 grandchildren.
