Obituary for James F. McNulty
BILLERICA – James F. McNulty, age 81, died Tuesday at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with his family by his side. He was born in Woburn, November 1, 1930 a son of the late Thomas J. and Margaret (Connolly) McNulty and was a lifelong Billerica Resident. Mr. McNulty attended Billerica Schools and graduated from the Medford Vocational High School, served in the US Air Force during the Korean War with a crash rescue team and was responsible for several rescues of downed servicemen. He was a Firefighter for the Town of Billerica retiring at the rank of Lieutenant and was a member of the VFW and Billerica Lodge of Elks. He is survived by one son, James McNulty of Methuen; two daughters, Gail McLean and her husband John and Kathleen Torres and her husband Frank all of Methuen; two sisters; Judy Pangraze and her husband Joseph and Jo-Ann Costedio and her husband Warren all of Billerica; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Frank Jr., Daniel, Page, Jillian, James Jr. and Lyndsey as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Thomas McNulty MCNULTY – Of Billerica, August 21, James F. McNulty. Visiting hours will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 9 – 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
