Obituary for James W. McNeill Sr.
James W. McNeill Sr., Age 71, beloved husband of Barbara J. (Mellen) McNeill died Saturday at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
He was born in Lowell, December 2, 1944, the son of the late Anna McNeill and was raised in Lowell before moving to Billerica 51 years ago.
Mr. McNeill was employed as a Computer Engineer for Raytheon for over 35 years having worked in Tewksbury, Andover and Burlington and retired in 2012. He was a member of the Billerica Rod and Gun Club.
Besides his wife, Mr. McNeill is survived by his daughters, Justine Cadden and her husband William of Billerica and Barbara Jackson and her husband Shawn of Nashua, NH; his sons, James McNeill Jr. and his wife Michelle of Hudson, NH and Kirk McNeill of Billerica and is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
MCNEILL – Of Billerica, James W. McNeill Sr., A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. McNeill’s name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611-3201.
