Obituary for Herman L. Wiitala
BILLERICA – Herman L. “Lee” Wiitala, age 35, died Friday after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Lowell, October 9, 1978 the son of Herman L. Wiitala of Billerica, Carol B. (Gordon) Bowes of Dunstable and was a lifelong Billerica resident. Mr. Wiitala was educated in the Billerica schools, attended the Shawsheen Technical High School and was an avid Boston sports fan. Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters, Monique Wiitala of Billerica and Brittany and Hannah Bowes both of Dunstable; Jesse Wiitala of Fl; his loving companion Alice Eklund as well as his devoted extended family. WIITALA – Of Billerica, Mar. 21, Herman L. “Lee” Wiitala. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
