Obituary for Henry I. Pike III
Henry I. Pike III – Age 62, beloved husband of Sheila A. (Surprenant) Pike died unexpectedly Saturday at their vacation home in Moultonborough, NH.
He was born in Malden, November 14, 1958, a son of Ann (Casey) Pike of Billerica and the late Henry Pike Jr. and lived in Billerica most of his life.
Henry was currently employed as a General Superintendent for Electrical Dynamics in N. Reading for over 30 years. He was a member of the Woburn Sportsmen’s Association in Bedford where he loved shooting guns. His favorite time was spent doing the things he loved, being at the lake house with his family, boating on Lake Winnipesaukee, snowmobiling in Jackman, and fishing the Piscataqua in Eliot Maine. Hank was the life of the party, with a contagious laugh and a knack for busting everyone’s chops. An absolute joy to be around! His desire for life was contagious.
Besides his wife and mother, Henry is survived by his son, Henry I. Pike IV and his wife Christine of Methuen; his daughters, Lauren Pike of Lowell and Ashley DaSilva and her husband James of Pepperell; his sister, Linda Lee and her husband Dustin of Eliot, ME and his grandchildren, Lillian, Lindsay, Olivia and Layla. He was the brother of the late Deborah Pike. Brother in law of Nancy & Peter LaFauci of Merrimack NH, Joanne & John Othman of Milford NH, Sharon Lombard of Nashua NH, Joseph and Ruth Surprenant of Gardner MA. Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Henry’s funeral will be held Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Andrew Church, Talbot Ave., N. Billerica at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
