Obituary for Helen M. Desrosiers
TYNSGBORO—Helen M. (Perry) Desrosiers, age 88, beloved wife of the late George L Desrosiers, died Friday at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Lowell, September 11, 1929, a daughter of the late Edmund and Adrienne (DeSmitt) Perry and lived in Billerica for many years, before moving to Tyngsboro in 2000.
Helen was a cake decorator at the Spiceland Bakery and worked also at the Yum Yum Shop, both in Billerica, before beginning a longtime career with MACOM. She was a talented painter, and enjoyed painting landscapes and scenic portraits.
She is survived by her three children, Debra Johansen and her husband Keith of Tyngsboro, Janet Healy and her partner Skip Esburnett of Hudson, NH, and David Desrosiers and his wife Mary of Lawrence, one brother, Edmund Perry, two sisters, Anna Aufiero, and Irene Nuttall all of Lowell. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, Keith, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Brittany, Jillian, Drew, Amanda, Jeff, Colleen, Matthew, Ryan, Danielle, Adam and Brittany, and eight great grandchildren, Zachary, Jaxson, Mia, Billy, Caitlyn, Abigail, Rachel and Julie.
Helen is predeceased by her beloved son Daniel Desrosiers, as well as her brother Junior Perry and sister Lillian Lemire.

Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd, Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd. Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd. Waltham, MA 02452.
