Obituary for Helen A. McGinness
Helen A. McGinness – Age 84, wife of the late Timothy J. O’Mahony and Richard A. McGinness died Sunday at her daughter’s home in Lunenburg. She was born in Somerville, September 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Carlin) Grimes and lived in Billerica for over 60 years. Mrs. McGinness was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for BARD for many years before her retirement. She was a former member of the VFW Eggo Post Ladies Auxiliary and the Billerica Senior Center. She is survived by her daughters, Helen Moore of Naples, FL, Kathleen Oakley of St. Petersburg, FL, Patricia Cabana of Lunenburg, Geraldine O’Mahony of S. Paris, ME and Maureen MacKay of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. McGinness – Of Billerica, April 29, Helen A. (Grimes)(O’Mahony) McGinness, Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billerica Food Pantry, 365 Boston Rd., Billerica, MA 01821. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
