Obituary for Heidi D. Penny
Heidi D. Penny – Age 61, wife of the late Steven J. Penny, died unexpectedly Saturday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Stoneham, March 14, 1960, a daughter of the late Otto J. and Cathleen P. (Flint) Zechner and lived in Billerica her entire life.
Heidi was currently employed as a Planner for the Vicor Corporation in Andover having worked there for 36 years and was a former employee of B.J.’s Wholesale Club in Stoneham.
She is survived by her son, Eric Penny and his wife Katelyne of Billerica; her daughters, Alyssa Penny and her fiancé David Pezza of Johnston, RI and Katie Clougherty and her husband Jim of Billerica; her stepson, Daryl Penny of Burlington; her brothers, Mark Zechner and Chris Zechner both of Billerica; her sisters, Wendy Blanchard of Billerica and Darcy Tanner of Woburn; and is also survived by her four grandchildren, Emily, Lauren, Colton, and Madelyne, four granddoggies, and many nieces and nephews. She was the stepmother of the late Todd Penny.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org
