Obituary for Harry "Dipper" F. DePinto
Harry “Dipper” F. DePinto – Age 87, husband of the late June F. (Flores) DePinto died Thursday at the Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born in Dover, NH, January 20, 1928, a son of the late George H. and Harriet M. (Barton) DePinto and was raised in Cambridge before moving to Billerica in 1955. Mr. DePinto proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WW II.
Mr. DePinto was employed as a Billerica Firefighter for 32 years having retired in 1993. He was a charter member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus.
Mr. DePinto is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Samuels and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH, Laural Stokes and her husband John, Susan Coleman and her husband Peter, Lisa Darrigo and her husband Matthew, Leslie Petersen and her husband Christian and Christina Lopez and her husband Eric all of Billerica and Catherine Lyman and her husband Stephen of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Melissa and Joshua Samuels, Edward and John Stokes, Meghan Coleman Newcomb and Jennifer Coleman Munro, Rebekah, Elizabeth and Nicholas Darrigo, Ariel McKenna, Benjamin and Jacob Petersen, Shawn, Bradley and Olivia Lyman and Anthony, Andrew and Vincent Lopez and his great grandson, Riley Moynihan. He was the brother of the late Stanley DePinto.
