Obituary for Harry L. Norman
Harry L. Norman, Age 89, beloved husband of Vivian E. (Reynolds) Norman died Friday at the D’Youville Life & Wellness Community in Lowell surrounded by his family.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois, August 21, 1931, a son of the late Herman O. and Hildur (Larsson) Norman and was raised in Arlington and moved to Billerica in 1958. Harry proudly served in the U.S. Air Force (Air Force Police) in Korea, during the Korean War. Harry was also a Co-Founder and Captain of the Billerica Colonial Minutemen and a member of the Thomas Talbot Lodge in Billerica.
Harry was a Sheet Metal Worker for the former Bluin Sheet Metal in Burlington and later became a self-employed carpenter and painter.
Besides his wife, Harry is survived by his sons, Kurt Norman and his wife Laurie of Billerica and Scott Norman and his fiancé Kym Erickson of Billerica; his daughter, Lisa Muise and her husband Michael of Billerica; his brother, Erick Norman and his wife Nicole of Windham, NH and is also survived by his nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
All arrangements will be private for the family only because of Covid restrictions, burial will take place with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project,
