Obituary for Harriet G Higgins
BILLERICA – Harriet G. (Conway) Higgins, age 80, beloved wife of John H. Higgins died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital North in Lutz, FL with her family by her side.
She was born in Boston, October 27, 1935 a daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel (Mortel) Conway and lived in Belmont before moving to Billerica in1969.
Mrs. Higgins taught CCD at St. Theresa Church in Billerica was a Cub Scout Leader and an active member of the Council on Aging and Billerica Senior Center.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, John H. Higgins Jr. and his wife Linda of N. Reading, Cheryl Byrnes and her husband Jim of N. Billerica, Frederick Higgins and his fiancée Jean Cirillo of N. Billerica, Ann Higgins and her longtime companion Bill Doyle of Hudson, NH and Teresa Feingold and her husband Eric of Lutz, FL; her brothers and sisters, Thomas Conway of Bedford, NH, Margaret Florentino of Salem, NH, Janet Morris of Salem, NH and Joseph Conway of Lynn as well as 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many friends. She was the sister of the late William Conway, Charlotte Tully, Joan Brady, Frances Ciampa and Ethel Belleveau.

Funeral Thursday, July 7 from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friend respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 6 from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
