Gloria V. Messemer – Age 87, wife of the late Edward Messemer died Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Mary Immaculate Nursing Center in Lawrence with her family by her side that day.
She was born in, El Paso, Texas, August 5, 1937 a daughter of the late Victor Vargas and Paola Lopez and was raised in El Paso before moving to New York and then to Billerica in 2016.
Gloria was employed as a Political Moderator for a Research Group prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Glorianne Niebuhr of Billerica, Clarisse Messemer of OR and Charlie Messemer of OR and was the mother of the late John Messemer. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren.
Gloria’s funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Sisters at Corpus Christie Monastery at 1230 Layfayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10474.
