Glenda Lee E. McShane – age 77, beloved wife of Paul T. McShane Sr. died Monday, January 20 at their home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Burlington, Iowa, May 16, 1947, a daughter of the late Gabriel and Florence (Lynch) Boccia and was raised in Allston and moved to Billerica 51 years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Dannielle Salvato and her husband Michael of Nashua, NH and Paula McShane Lambert and her husband Kevin of Billerica; her son, Paul McShane Jr. and his wife Melanie of Wilmington; her sister, Maria Nuttoli and her husband Enrico of Billerica and is also survived by her six grandchildren Nicholas, Nicole, Jessica, Shane, Grace and Elle. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Sara, Barbara, Beverly, Lois, Florence and brothers Emil and Robert.
Glenda, lovingly referred to as “Nonnie” enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, traveling and boating. She had a great affection for hot air balloons and bells.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 23 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
