Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather
And Brother
Billerica – Giuseppe Tammaro – Age 91, beloved husband of Giuseppina (Tranfaglia) Tammaro died Wednesday at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford.
He was born in Mirabella Eclano, Italy, November 13, 1923, a son of the late Emiliano and Olimpia (DiPrisco) Tammaro. He was raised in Italy before moving to the north end of Boston and then to Billerica.
Mr. Tammaro was employed as a Operating Engineer for Allied Maintenance Co. for 35 years before his retirement.
Besides his wife, Mr. Tammaro is survived by his daughter, Marie Coleman and her husband Bruce of Groton; his sons, Leo Tammaro and Carl Tammaro of Billerica and Patrick Tammaro and his wife Lisa of Boxford; his sisters, Amelia Terrazzano, Caterina Uva and Concetta Martignetti of Canada and is also survived by six grandchildren. Mr. Tammaro was the brother of the late Romilda Tartaglia and Matteo Tammaro.
TAMMARO – Of Billerica, Sept. 16, Giuseppe Tammaro, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the HHT Foundation International at www.curehht.org Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
