Gerard J. Levesque Jr., age 80, died October 29, at Larchwood Hospital in Ft. Pierce, FL after a period of declining health.
Gerard grew up a “country boy” raised on a dairy farm in Billerica. He loved animals and was working from the time he could lift a milk bucket. He had religion in his heart at a very young age and always wanted to be an Alter Boy in the Church.
At a young age (early 20’s) he decided he wanted to start a business on his own which he did “Levesque Roofing Company”. He became very successful and was completely devoted to his work
Gerard loved the mountains, lived in Vermont for some time and loved the fall but didn’t really like the cold weather much. He moved to sunny Florida and became a Floridian where he found much happiness
He is survived by one son, Charles Levesque of Billerica; one brother Frank Levesque: two sisters Jeanne Traverse and Beverly Vasconcelos; his granddaughter Marisa Levesque as well as two great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Gerard “Skip” Levesque.
All services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
