Obituary for Geraldine M. Niemiec
GERALDINE M. NIEMIEC - Age 64, Loving wife of Ronald A. Niemiec died unexpectedly Monday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
She was born in Chelsea, October 31, 1944, the daughter of the late Carmine "Bam" Covino and Mary (Kushmerek) Covino and lived in Billerica for many years before moving to Florida and then returning to live in Billerica.
Mrs. Niemiec worked for North Eastern University and later worked for Middlesex Community College prior to her retirement.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Niemiec is survived by her daughters, Diane Harris of Billerica, Donna Lombard of IN, Lori Niemiec of Chelmsford and Danielle Niemiec of Lowell; her son, Ryan Niemiec of Billerica; her sisters, Nancy Clare and Carol Pratt of Wakefield. She is also survived by four grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Thomas Covino.

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
