Georgette D. Wells – age 101, wife of the late George E. Wells died peacefully Saturday, May 24, at the Benchmark Senior Living in Woburn.
She was born in Manchester, NH, November 5, 1922 a daughter of the late Max and Albertine (Mercier) Brazeau and lived in Medford for most of her life.
Georgette worked in the banking industries for many years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Kearney and her husband Jack of Billerica; her son, Gary Wells and his wife Diane of Wilmington; her three grandchildren, Jennifer Kearney and Derek Kearney and his wife Mariah and Andrew Wells and his wife Kylie and her two great grandchildren, Aiden Wells and Gavin Kearney. She was the mother of the late Donald Wells and grandmother of the late Daniel Wells.
Georgette’s funeral arrangements will be private and her burial will take place at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
