George R. Eversman, age 89, beloved husband Margaret A. (Black) Eversman died Thursday June 11, 2026 at the Care Dimensions Hospice House with his family by his side.
He was born in Murphysboro, IL, July 10, 1936 and lived in Illinois until he joined the US Navy at the age of 18.
George served actively in the Navy for 20 years then went on to continue his service with the Navy for another 10 years with the reserves retiring with the Rank of HT1.
After his retirement from active duty he began his second career at the Coca-Cola company in Needham where he worked for another 15 years.
He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and the DAV.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Robert Eversman and his wife Therese of Merritt Island, FL and Susan Nyberg and her husband Scott of Merrimack, NH as well as five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
It being his request all services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
