Obituary for George A. Peck
George A. Peck – Age 79, beloved husband of Marian E. (Abbott) Peck died Saturday at the VA Boston Healthcare System in W. Roxbury. He was born in Cambridge, December 5, 1932, the son of the late Ernest and Catherine (Ford) Peck and lived in Somerville for many years before moving to Billerica in 1965. Mr. Peck served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as an Electrical Technician for the Sylvania Company for many years before retiring from Coulter Systems in Bedford. Besides his wife, Mr. Peck is survived by his sons, John Peck and his wife Donna of Winchester, Thomas Peck and his wife Deborah of E. Amherst, NY and Richard Peck and his wife Tonya of Wayland; his daughters, Kathleen Cieplik and her husband Gary of Walpole and Karen Clough of New Ipswich, NH and his grandchildren, Craig and Evan Cieplik, Natalie and James Clough and Madeline, Josephine, Nathan, Hartley, Andrew and Ella Peck. PECK – Of Billerica, March 3, George A. Peck, A memorial Mass will be held Thursday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers due to lent, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Peck’s name to the Oncology Department, VA Hospital, 150 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
