Obituary for George L. Clary Jr.
George L. Clary Jr. – Age 80, beloved husband of Margaret E. (Keniston) Clary died Saturday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
He was born in Cambridge, March 8, 1935, a son of the late George and Nora (Horgan) Clary and was raised in Cambridge having lived in Billerica for 42 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Clary was employed as a Compounder for Stahl Chemical in Peabody before his retirement. He was active at the Billerica Senior Center having enjoyed playing Cribbage. His biggest joy was spending time with his three granddaughters.
Besides his wife, Mr. Clary is survived by his son George L. Clary III of Chelmsford; his daughter, Darlene DeWitt and her husband David of Chelmsford; his brother, Joseph Clary of Hawaii; his sister, Noreen Harkins of Leominster and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Allison and Julianne DeWitt. He was the brother of the late Marie Naunez, Joan Niland, Florence Nichols, Olive Bennett and Doris Sateriale.
CLARY – Of Billerica, Jan. 9, George L. Clary Jr., Funeral Wednesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
