Obituary for Gary W. Balkan
Gary W. Balkan – Age 44, died unexpectedly Monday at the Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus. He was born in Woburn, September 28, 1970, a son of the late Charles D. Balkan Sr. and Annamarie (McDowell) Balkan and lived in Billerica for most of his life. Mr. Balkan was employed at Millipore prior to working as an Inspector for Pace Industries in Billerica. He is survived by his son, Jake Balkan of Billerica; his daughter, Lilly Balkan of Lowell; his loving companion, Lisa Martinho of Lowell; his brothers, Charles Balkan Jr. and his wife Cheryl and Ronald Balkan and his wife Michelle of Nashua, Michael Balkan and his wife Wendi of Tyngsboro and Thomas Balkan of Billerica; his sister, Darlene Vacca and her wife Toni of Billerica as well as many nieces and nephews. BALKAN – Of Billerica, June 15, Gary W. Balkan, A memorial visitation will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Balkan Children’s Fund, c/o T.D. Bank.
