Obituary for Francis P. Hernon
BILLERICA – Francis P. Hernon, age 67, died unexpectedly Friday at his home.
He was born in Boston, August 19, 1952, son of the late George and Pauline (Kelly) Hernon. He was a lifelong resident of Billerica.
Mr. Hernon was a truck driver for many years including the Owner/Operator of F. Hernon and Son Trucking Co. In his later years he worked as an Auto Mechanic.
Fran was a proud father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time watching his grandson, Justin play soccer and hockey. He was a #1 fan hardly missing a game. He also enjoyed spending time with friends whether it be sitting by the pool on Sunday morning or relaxing with friends from Innis Drive.
Frank is survived by his son, Jeffrey, daughter in-law Rosemary and grandson Justin of Billerica, MA, his former wife Janet Hernon, and his two sisters Virginia and her husband Ed Perry from Lowell, MA and Dorsey Collins of Derry, NH as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his two brothers Thomas and George Hernon and brother-in-law, Kevin Collins.
It being his wish all services will be held privately and at the convenience of his family.
