Obituary for Francis W. Olson
Francis “Frank” W. Olson, Age 93, husband of the late Marie T. (Shea) Olson died peacefully Saturday at the Willow Manor in Lowell.
He was born in Malden, September 24, 1927, a son of the late Allen and Frances (Heath) Olson and lived in Billerica for 35 years and then Littleton.
Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was the recipient of five Bronze Stars, the Presidential Unit Citation and was a member of the American Legion. Frank was employed as a Die Cutter for Bicknell & Fuller Co. in Woburn for 20 years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his daughter, Maureen Olson of Littleton; his sons, Michael Olson of Billerica and Frank Olson of Nashua, NH; his brother, Fred Olson of Billerica and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Allen and George Olson, Florence Wheeler, Ruth Mason, Rose Harris and Mary Dupont.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 30 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Andrew Church, Talbot Ave., N. Billerica at 10 a.m. Face masks will be required. Burial with military honors will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
