Obituary for Francis A. Dolan
Francis A. Dolan – Age 79, beloved husband of Fay E. (Burns) Dolan died Thursday at the Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
He was born in Boston, a son of the late John and Lillian (Santoro) Dolan and was raised in Medford before moving to Billerica 47 years ago. Mr. Dolan proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a Truck Driver for Local 25 having driven for First National and worked as a Custodian for the Billerica School Department at the Locke School and the Hallenborg Rink and later was a Driver for Taylor Florist.
Besides his wife, Mr. Dolan is survived by his children, Francis Dolan Jr. of Shirley, Kelley Penta of Wakefield, Richard Dolan of Saugus, Dena Fahey and Amanda Kinney of Tyngsborough and Nicholas Dolan of Salem; his former wife, Shirley Rose of Saugus and is also survived by eight grandchildren.
DOLAN – Of Billerica, Sept. 14, Francis A. Dolan, Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 2-5 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. A private burial will take place in Mr. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
