Obituary for Frances A. Berube
Frances A. (Falcone) Berube of North Billerica, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Fran was born on July 17, 1940, in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Falcone and lived in Cambridge before moving to Billerica 35 years ago. Fran has been reunited in Heaven with her parents and older brother, Matthew Falcone and his wife Annette.
Fran is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald A. Berube of North Billerica; and five children, Michael D. Berube and his wife Maria of Buford, GA, Kenneth J. Berube of Everett, Theresa A. Mullaney and her husband Robert of Raymond, NH, Doreen F. Shedd and her husband Charles of Billerica and Claudine M. May and her husband Joseph of Pepperell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jonathan M. Berube, Nicole M. Gess, Billy Mullaney, Bryan Shedd, Lyndsey Shedd, Kaitlyn May and Nicolas May and many nieces and nephews.
Fran began her career at Prudential Insurance and held many other positions over her working career. Her true strongest love, however, was for her family followed closely by an unrelenting long-suffering devotion to her Boston Red Sox.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at St. Irene Church, 187 East Street, Carlisle at 10 a.m. Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica. Memorial contributions may be made in Fran’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
