Obituary for Evelyn C. Peterson
BILLERICA – Evelyn C. (Weldon) Peterson, age 80, died Wednesday at Fairhaven Healthcare Center in Lowell after a brief illness.
She was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Earl Sr. and Muriel (Cameron) Weldon and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica in 1964.
Mrs. Peterson was a supervisor for BASF, an avid Bingo player and enjoyed traveling and going on cruises.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Peterson of Westford, Bonnie Peterson of Irvington, KY, Brian Peterson and his wife Christina of Billerica, Glen Peterson of Billerica and Paul Peterson of Princeton, IN; two sisters, Thelma Anthony of Woburn and Norma Jackson of Burlington; her former husband Raynold Peterson of Woburn as well as six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Earl Weldon Jr., and Barbara Cowan and mother-in-law of the late Leon Miller.
PETERSON – Of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, Oct. 19, Evelyn C. Peterson. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
