Obituary for Eugene W. Mansfield
Eugene W. Mansfield – Age 77, beloved husband of Kathleen (Walch) Mansfield and the late Jennie R. (Kelly) Mansfield, died Thursday at their home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Salem, April 14, 1939, a son of the late Walter J. and Shirley (Gatchell) Mansfield and lived in Hamilton and later moved to Billerica in 1967. He proudly served in the U.S. Marines Corps.
Besides his wife, Mr. Mansfield is survived by his daughters, Linda MacDonald of Nashua and Laurie Vetree of Merrimack, NH. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Pamela Blanchard and Lisa Singelais.
MANSFIELD – Of Billerica, Nov. 17, Eugene W. Mansfield, Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854. Burial will take place Monday at the Hamilton Cemetery.
