Emily J. Cedrone, age 37, of Billerica, beloved wife of Nicholas A. Cedrone, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Salem on September 12, 1988, she was the loving daughter of Steven and Mary (Simmons) Ingersoll of Peabody. Emily was raised in Peabody and made her home in Billerica over the past 12 years. She was a graduate of the Peabody school system and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Salem State University and her Master’s degree from Rivier University. Emily pursued her education with the goal of becoming a youth counselor, inspired by her kind heart and her deep desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Emily worked at the Blair House in Tewksbury before joining the family business, Cedrone Corp. in Billerica. She embraced a healthy, active lifestyle and had a love for fitness, but above all else, she was a devoted and loving mother. Her daughters, Ava and Arianna, were her entire world and the center of her life. She found her greatest joy in being their mom, creating a home filled with love and holding every moment with them close to her heart.
Emily also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Diesel, who brought her comfort, joy, and companionship throughout her cancer journey.
In addition to her husband and parents, Emily is survived by her beloved daughters, Ava and Arianna Cedrone; her brother, Jared Ingersoll and his wife Katelyn of Peabody, along with their children, Jared James and McKenzie; her parents-in-law, Fabio and Michelle Cedrone of Billerica; her brother-in-law, Vincent Cedrone and his wife Angelena of Tewksbury, and their children, Luca and Leo. She also leaves behind many loving relatives and friends who will miss her deeply.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 30 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 3:00-7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Friday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Emily’s name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, www.wish.org.
