BILLERICA – Mrs. Elsie (Flaherty) Fagner a lifelong resident of Billerica passed away Friday February 10, 2023. She was the wife of the late William Fagner.
Mrs. Fagner was a parishioner of the former St. Mary’s Church in Billerica and a member of the Ladies Sodality for many years.
Elsie had many hobbies, sewing being her passion for many years. She made and donated the Baptismal Bibs for the new arrivals.
Her surviving family includes her two sons, Richard Fagner and his wife Janet of Anaheim, CA and Ronald Fagner and his wife Martha of N. Reading, her two daughters, Maureen Enos and her partner Rebecca of N. Conway and Karen Johnson of Westford.
Elsie will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Melissa, Amy, Michael, Shaun and the late Matthew Fagner as well as her nine great-grandchildren, Maguire, Kali, Samantha, Karissa, Matthew Jr., Jake, Laila, Elizabeth and Joshua plus many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Sullivan and Rose Stivers and her dearest friend the late Grace Chase.
Visiting hour will be held Monday, February 13, at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mathew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford, MA 01824
