Obituary for Ellen M. Sargent
BILLERICA – Ellen M. (Fahy) Sargent, age 88, beloved wife of the late Charles F. Sargent died Thursday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
She was born in Boston, October 13, 1929 one of 14 children of Patrick and Ellen M. (Mullen) Fahy and lived in Dorchester before moving to Billerica over 60 years ago.
Mrs. Sargent was a longtime secretary for the former Purity Supreme in Billerica and was a Billerica Town Meeting member for 25 years, a Planning Board member for 13 years and a member of the Board of Appeals for 23 years.
She is survived by one son, Charles F.H. Sargent of Billerica; one daughter Ellen M. Davis of Lawton, OK; two granddaughters Elaine Davis-Williams and Melissa Davis-Williams; three great grandchildren Christopher John, Hailey Payton and Gavin Ryan as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
