Obituary for Ellen L. Santoro
Ellen L. (O’Brien) Santoro, age 83, beloved wife of the late Dominic A. Santoro, died unexpectedly Thursday at their home.
Ellen was born in Cambridge, April 20, 1939 a daughter of the late Edward D. and Mildred C. (O’Donnell) O’Brien and lived in Watertown before moving to Billerica in 1963.
Ellen took great pleasure in raising her family and spending time with her grandchildren and her new great-grandson.
She is survived by one son, Edward Santoro and his wife Kelli of Billerica; two daughters, Lynne Sheehan and her husband Kevin of Billerica and Kathleen MacInnis of Peabody; three sisters, Kathleen Iwasyk of Wilmington, DE, Patricia Valdinocci of North Chelmsford and Mary Holland of Billerica; her grandchildren, Alyssa Santoro and her husband Matthew Baranello, Nicholas Santoro, Matthew Sheehan and Joseph Sheehan and his wife Juliana as well as her great-grandson Rory Baranello.
The Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m.
Visiting hours will be held at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home in Billerica, Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
An additional option to flowers, is a memorial contribution may be made to the Covenant House
