Obituary for Elizabeth L. Brown
Elizabeth L. Brown – Age 65, beloved wife of George E. Brown Sr. died Friday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by her family.
She was born in Woburn, December 16, 1952, a daughter of the late James J. and Mary E. (Clifford) Battcock and was raised in Burlington before moving to Billerica in 1976.
Mrs. Brown was employed as a Bus Driver for 40 years having worked for Eastern Bus Company. Along with her husband, she was a member of the North American Family Campers Association and enjoyed traveling with their trailer.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Brown in survived by her sons, George Brown Jr. and his wife Nicole of Billerica and Michael Brown and his wife Liz of Lowell; her sisters, Jeanne Kennedy and MaryAlyce Lopez of Nashua and Sharon Akerstron of Westford; her brothers, James Battcock Jr. of Lancaster, CA, David Battcock of Newburyport, Garry Battcock of Billerica and John Battcock of Franklin, NH. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
BROWN – Of Billerica, Nov. 16, Elizabeth L. (Battcock) Brown. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 1 at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
