Obituary for Elizabeth G. Needham
Elizabeth G. Needham – Age 93, wife of the late Everett W. Needham died Thursday surrounded by her family at the Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Arlington, August 1, 1918, the daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah (Harvey) Hewson. She was raised in Arlington and lived in Carlisle and Billerica before moving to Chelmsford 14 years ago. Mrs. Needham was employed as a Waitress for over 30 years having worked at the former Manning Manse in Billerica before her retirement. She was an active member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Billerica having served as a Eucharistic Minister, a Reader and also worked at the Thrift Shop for many years. She is survived by her son, Donald Needham of Chelmsford, her daughters, Patricia Cregg of Lowell and Jane Clark of Billerica and is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Gerald Needham. NEEDHAM – Of Chelmsford, June 21, Elizabeth G. (Hewson) Needham, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Anne’s Church, 14 Treble Cove Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
