Obituary for Elizabeth E. Walsh
BILLERICA - Elizabeth E. "Ethel" Walsh, age 89, wife of the late George W. Walsh died Friday at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born August 14, 1920 a daughter of the late James and Rose (Ryan) Kerivan and lived in Billerica, Clearwater, FL and Austin, TX before moving back to Billerica.
Mrs. Walsh received her nursing degree from Tewksbury State Hospital where she worked as an RN and later at Boston City Hospital. She later worked as a secretary for the Billerica School Department prior to her retirement.
She is survived by two daughters, Irene Callahan and her husband James of Billerica, Mary Walsh of Austin, TX; her daughter-in-law Nancy Walsh as well as nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late George M. Walsh. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 330 Congress St. 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
