BILLERICA – Elizabeth A. (Doyle) Collins, age 85, beloved wife of the late Philip Collins died Saturday May 6, 2023 at the Palm Center in Chelmsford after a period of declining health.
She was born in Boston, August 20, 1937 a daughter of the late William and Catherine (McNeice) Doyle and lived in Jamaica Plain before moving to Billerica.
Elizabeth was employed as an RN for Falkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain and then for the former Country View Nursing Home in Billerica.
In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Catherine “Katie” Larocque and her husband Dan of Lowell; two brothers, Gerard “Gerry” Collins and his wife Amy of Boca Raton, FL and John Collins and his wife Valerie of Wake Forest, NC; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Chrissy, Jacquelynn, James, Shawn and his wife Amy, Stephanie, Aiden and Liam; her great-grandson Danny as well as a good friend and roommate Ann W. Her family would also like to thank the staff of Palm Center for their care.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 20, at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10:00 a.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn. www.alz.org
