Obituary for Elisabeth Henderson
Elisabeth (Lowrie) Henderson, age 64, wife of the late Thomas R. Henderson, died Thursday at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her family. She was born on November 27, 1946 in Beverly, a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (McElligott) Lowrie. She grew up in Gloucester before moving to Andover for many years and then returning to Gloucester in 2001. Mrs. Henderson attended Gloucester High School and University of Massachusetts Amherst. She worked as a teacher\'s aide with special needs students in the Andover, MA and Salem, NH schools. She is survived by two daughters, Julia Lowrie Henderson of CA and Amy Elisabeth Henderson of NY, two sisters, Susanne Hudacs of NY and Joan Waterhouse of Gloucester, as well as many friends and a large extended family.HENDERSON - Of Gloucester, April 7, Elisabeth (Lowrie) Henderson. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 198 Haggets Pond Rd., Andover at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, Ma 01923 Burial in Central Cemetery, Dunstable.
