
Eleanor R. Martin (Sullivan). Predeceased by Edward Holway (husband) and Edward Holway Jr. (son) and Joseph W. Martin Jr. (husband) and Sister Jeanne Sullivan, brothers Charles and Timothy Sullivan.
Survived by William Sullivan and family of Woburn, sister Michelle Rouse-Honnors and family of Billerica, Haduko Sullivan and family of Washington State and step-son Edwin Martin of Atkinson N.H Also survived by beloved nieces, nephews. Devoted cousin Annabelle Shields and dear friend Marie Cantone of Florida.
Born in Medford Massachusetts, her childhood was in South Medford Massachusetts. Eleanor attended St. Clement School grammar school in Somerville. Her family later moved to Stoneham Massachusetts where she graduated from St. Patrick’s High School.
Eleanor was an Active member of St Patrick’s Sodality and Legion of Mary. She went onto work at Federal Reserve Bank of Boston where she met Edward F. Howay. They married in 1958 and moved to Billerica and had a son Edward Jr.
Upon Edward senior's death in 1961 Eleanor went to work in Billerica Town clerk’s office, where she met Joseph F. Martin and married 2/14/1969. They were very active in Billerica belonging to Billerica Historical Society, Friends of Billerica Library and the Irish American Club.
The Martins moved to Florida and took up residents in the city of Atlantis. Eleanor and Joseph were members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where Eleanor was a member National Catholic Women Society, Knights and Ladies Our Lady and worked in Bereavement ministry at St. Thomas Moore’s parish in Boynton Beach.
