Obituary for Eleanor M. Reardon
Eleanor M. (Whitaker) Reardon, age 70, beloved wife of Gordon E. Reardon Jr., with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage, died Wednesday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Arlington, Dec. 24, 1946 a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Frost) Whitaker and lived in Arlington, Wilmington and Salem before moving to Billerica in 1978.
Mrs. Reardon coached Billerica Girls Softball with her husband for many years and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Lori McLaughlin and her husband Jack of Billerica; one son, Thomas Reardon and his wife Brandie of Merrimack, NH; one sister Jane Whitaker of Haverhill; one brother, Ronald Whitaker of Millis, MA as well as three grandchildren, John and Ryan McLaughlin and Eric McLaughlin and his wife Heather.
REARDON – Of Billerica, formerly of Arlington, Wilmington and Salem, Dec. 13, Eleanor M. (Whitaker) Reardon. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 9 – 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
