Obituary for Eleanor M. Flynn
Eleanor M. Flynn – Age 90, wife of the late Paul W. Flynn died peacefully Tuesday, August 16 at the Winchester Nursing Center with her family at her side.
She was born in Somerville, November 17, 1931, a daughter of the late Cornelius and Mary (Hebert) Aucoin and was raised in Somerville before moving to Burlington in 1959.
Eleanor was employed as a Manager at Fanny Farmer and later retired as an Administrative Assistant at Macom. Her greatest joy was her family and dancing.
She is survived by her children, Paul Flynn and his wife Debra of Burlington, Susan Russo and her husband John of Tyngsboro, Michael Flynn and his wife Kim of Dracut and Ellen Comerford and her husband Mark of Boston and her brother, Richard Aucoin. of Danvers She is also survived by her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edward and Howard Aucoin, Florence O’Sullivan and Evelyn Campbell.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 20 at St. Veronica Parish at St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Her burial will take place at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington. Memorial contributions may be made in Eleanor’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
