Obituary for Elayne Rachel Fong
BILLERICA - Elayne Rachel Fong, age 48, beloved wife of Patrick Kopson and beloved mother of Michael Kopson, died Sunday morning at their home after a long illness.
She was born in Stanton, CA, March 20, 1962 daughter of the late Howard Tuck Wo, and Esther Blanche Fong. She grew up in Westminster, CA. During her twenties, Elayne lived in many parts of CA before passing through KY on her way to MA. She, Patrick and Michael moved to Billerica 13 years ago.
Elayne was proud of and dedicated to her work as a software engineer for iRobot in Burlington. She loved gardening, sewing, crafts, and her volunteer work at the Pat Brody Shelter For Cats in Lunenburg.
She is survived by her husband and son, 9 nieces and nephews, Patrick's large extended family, and many dear friends and co-workers.
FONG - Of Billerica, originally from CA, Elayne Rachel Fong, April 11. A Celebration of her life will be held 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (with a memorial service at 2:00 PM), Sunday, April 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5 Wheeler Road, Burlington, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pat Brody Shelter For Cats, PO Box 142 Lunenburg, MA 01462.
