Elaine T. (Pardo) Mellace, age 83, beloved wife of the late John Mellace, died Thursday, October 16 at D’Youville Senior Care after a period of declining health.
She was born in Winthrop, February 4, 1942 a daughter of the late Angelo and Annette (DeLuca) Pardo and lived and raised her family in Billerica before retiring to Amesbury.
Elaine worked many jobs over the years including sales at Precision Socket and Screw, Macy’s in the Burlington Mall and other local retailer’s but most important to her was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rice and her husband Kevin of Dunstable and Annette Villers and her husband Donald of Haverhill as well as four grandchildren, Evan, Lily, Victoria and Madison.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday October 29, 2025 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday October 30, 2025 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
