Obituary for Elaine P. Gagnon
Elaine P. (Taylor) Gagnon, age 75, beloved wife of Arthur M. Gagnon died Saturday at their home after a lengthy illness with her family by her side.
She was born in Cambridge, August 4, 1946 a daughter of the late Francis and Alice (Burke) Taylor and has been a Billerica resident since 1977.
Elaine enjoyed sewing, painting and gardening as well as spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Christina Gagnon of Billerica; three sons, Steven Gagnon and his wife Cynthia of Billerica, Russell Gagnon of Bedford and Matthew Gagnon and his wife Edith of San Diego, CA; four sisters, Maureen Lovell of FL, Susan Barbado of CA, Karen Johnson of ME and Linda Monahan of Westborough; one brother Michael Taylor of Newton; her sister-in-law Debbie Taylor of FL as well as seven grandchildren, Sharise, Jacob, Raymond, Mark, Stephany, Matthew Jr. and Derek. She was the sister of the late Mark Taylor.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beth Israel Health at Home, 800 Cummings Dr., Suite 5000, Woburn, MA 10801.
