Elaine M. (Sears) Campbell, age 77, beloved wife of 51 years of Dennis J. Campbell died unexpectedly Friday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.
She was born in Somerville, May 13, 1946, a daughter of the late Manuel and Clara (Alfonso) Sears and lived in Somerville before moving to Billerica 45 years age.
Elaine had worked part time at the former Balsams card shop but most important to her was spending time with her family. The love she had for her 2 Grandchildren was unimaginable. Elaine was the type of person that everyone loved. She was kind, caring, and most of all loving. Her and her Daughter had the best relationship and bond that will never be forgotten.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Lisa Donovan of Billerica; two grandchildren, Brooke Donovan and Private 1st Class Ryan Donovan; one brother, Joseph Sears of Hampstead, NH and one sister, Eleanor Schaefer of Concord, NH. She was the sister of the late Geraldine Borges and Irene Nabeska.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 6, at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for the Blind, www.afb.org
