Obituary for Eileen F. Penny
BILLERICA – Eileen F. (McGrath) Penny, age 88, wife of the late Harold Penny died at Saints Medical Center in Lowell. She was born in Everett, Nov 13, 1923 a daughter of the late Edward J. and Mary (Sampson) McGrath and lived in Everett prior to moving to Billerica in 1953. Mrs. Penny was a clerk for the IRS, a former member of the Everett Lodge of Elks ladies auxiliary and enjoyed playing cards. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Strunk of Lowell; one sister, Eleanor McGrath of ME; seven grandchildren, Christopher Felch, Linda Felch, Daryl Penny, Alan Wilson, Eric Penny, Alyssa Penny, and Katie Penny; nine great-grandchildren, Samantha, Aiden, Morgan, Kate, Nikia, Taylor, Cameron, Morgan and Stephen. She was the mother of the late Steven Penny, sister of the late Mildred McGrath and grandmother of the late Todd Penny. PENNY – Of Billerica, formerly of Everett, June 1, Eileen F. (McGrath) Penny. Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
