
Obituary for Edward J. Greer
Edward J. Greer - Age 79, husband of the late Ruth M. (Falter) Greer died Tuesday, May 11 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer.
He was born in Cambridge, June 24, 1930 the son of the late Thomas W. and Winifred (Fallon) Greer and lived in Billerica 44 years before moving to Townsend five years ago. Mr. Greer served in the National Guard during the Korean War. He was employed as an Optical Engineer for the Textron Co. in Wilmington prior to his retirement in 1995.
He is survived by his son, Edward T. Greer and his wife Debora of Townsend; his grandson, Edward R. Greer and his brother, Thomas Greer of Marblehead
GREER - Of Townsend, formerly of Billerica, May 11, Edward J. Greer. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Andover Rd., Billerica at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
