Obituary for Edward F. Hayes Jr.
Edward F. Hayes Jr. – Age 52, beloved husband of Jacqualine “Jackie” (Quinn) Hayes died comfortably Saturday at their home surrounded by his family. He was born in Naples, Italy, July 12, 1959, the son Roberta M. (Murray) Hayes of Waterboro, ME and the late Edward F. Hayes Sr. He lived in Cambridge before moving to Billerica in 1974. Mr. Hayes was employed as a Production Analyst for the 3M Corporation in Chelmsford having worked there for 32 years. He coached youth sports for many years, a longtime friend of Bill W. and an inspiration to all who knew him. Besides his wife and mother, Mr. Hayes is survived by his sons, Edward F. Hayes III of Westford and James Robinson of Chelmsford; his daughters, Nicole Hayes of Waterboro, ME and Diana Robinson of Lowell; his brothers, John Hayes, William Hayes and Michael Hayes all of ME and proud papa of Alexia and Dominic Wetzelaer, Aiden Thompson and Destiny Robinson. Hayes Jr., Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
